Sync your Steps

to Wellness Coach

 

If you would like to participate in walking challenges or set and track your steps goals, you must sync your steps from your smartphone to the Wellness Coach mobile app. Click below to find the instructions for your mobile device:

How to Sync your Steps to Apple Health

  1. Open the Wellness Coach mobile app here.
  2. Click More in the bottom right corner and select Settings. 
  3. Click on Apple Health to open your Health App.
  4. Allow Wellness Coach to collect your steps.

How to Sync yours Steps to Google Fit

Be sure to have the Google Fit App on your device and connected to your preferred Google account. You can download the app from Google Play Store here
  1. Open the Wellness Coach app here.
  2. Click More in the bottom right corner and select Settings. 
  3. Click on Google Fit and select "Allow".
  4. Select your Google Fit account and allow Wellness Coach to access your steps.
  5. Log in to your Google account.

How to Sync your Steps from Fitbit

Be sure to download the Fitbit app and have it synced to your Fitbit device. You can view Fitbit's FAQs here for support with creating your account and connecting your device to the app.  

  1. Open the Wellness Coach app here.
  2. Click More in the bottom right corner and select Settings. 
  3. Toggle on Fitbit. (If you do not see this at the top of the page, please download the latest version of the Wellness Coach app here and return to step #1)
  4. A new screen will appear to log in through Fitbit. Log in with your Fitbit account there.
  5. Once logged in on Fitbit, your Fitbit steps will sync to the Wellness Coach app (including Walking Challenges). 

 

If are using a wearable or third-party tracking app besides Fitbit, be sure it's synced to your Apple Health or Google Fit to be tracked in Wellness Coach.
